The visit comes as Gemini continues to expand its manufacturing capabilities, invest in new equipment and introduce new products.

US Senator James Lankford recently visited Gemini Industries, Inc.’s manufacturing facility in El Reno, Oklahoma, to tour the company’s operations and learn more about its role in Oklahoma’s manufacturing industry and as a 100% employee-owned and operated business with an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
During the visit, Lankford toured Gemini’s history center, main manufacturing plant and newest warehouse. During the tours, he met with members of the executive team, customer service, operations and human resources.
Discussions focused on the impact of ESOPs in the US as well as manufacturing in Oklahoma, industry challenges and the company’s continued investment in its operations.
“We were pleased to welcome Senator Lankford to Gemini and provide an inside look at the work our employees do every day,” said Chris Hicks, CEO at Gemini Industries. “As an employee-owned company in Oklahoma that has been manufacturing chemical coatings for wood for over 60 years, we are proud to contribute to the state’s manufacturing economy and appreciate the opportunity to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing our industry.”
“Gemini Industries in El Reno is an incredible employee-owned company producing wood coatings,” said Senator Lankford. “Their focus on innovation and building a strong culture helps employee-owners create generational wealth through good, blue-collar work.”
“At the heart of everything we do are the employee-owners who make our products and serve our customers,” said Hicks. “We’re proud to manufacture in Oklahoma and grateful for the talented people who make it possible for Gemini to continue growing and competing in markets across the country.”
